For over 30 years, The Original Howie Fly has been hammering record breaking salmon, trout and steelhead all over the Midwest.
Featuring pulsating hand-tied skirts loaded with outstanding fish-attracting action, these flashy flies are pre-rigged with #6 beads, ultra-sharp VMC hooks and 50 lb line.
Be prepared to hang on to your rod because these flies are record breakers when fished with a dodger tied 16’’ to 24’’ above the fly and trolled between 1 and 2.5 mph with a downrigger, dipsy, wire line, planer board or lead core line.
